Pageant Events
Evening Wear
Wear a dress of your choice. Please wear oufits that are age appropriate. Makeup should also be age appropriate.
Casual Wear
Casual wear can be any outfit of your choice. Makeup guidelines are the same as evening gown.
Interview
On Stage in Casual Wear (ages 4 and up only).
Talent
Please turn in talent tapes at registration. Your music must be on side 'A', it must be the only music on the tape, and it must be cued. One point per judge will be deducted for tapes that are not cued. Maximum time limit is 3 minutes, and talents are timed. One point will be deducted for every second you are over the time limit. You should bring a back-up tape!
Photogenic
Photogenic pictures may be any size, and are to be turned in at registration. You can enter up to three additional photos but only one will count towards hi point. They can be either color, or black or white. Please put your name, age, and the words photogenic on a piece of paper, and attach it to the back of your photo.
Portfolio
Portfolio pictures may be any size, color, or black and white. No more than 10 photos, and no pictures with crowns or banners. Portfolios are to be turned in at registration. Please have your name, and age somewhere on the front of your portfolio.
Special Event: Hollywood
DOES COUNT towards Hi Point, Optional which contestants can wear any outfit of their chosing. Have fun!.
Special Event: Animal Print,
DOES NOT COUNT towards Hi Point, Optional which contestants can wear any outfit of their chosing. Have fun!.
Star and Co Star:
team presentation of any talent, modeling, etc. Not to exceed 3 minutes
Judging Criteria
Evening Wear is judged on personality, poise/appearance, natural beauty and modeling.
Casual Wear is judged on personality, poise/appearance, modeling and stage presence.
Interview is judged on personality, poise and speaking skills.
Talent is judged on technical skill and style, stage presence, showmanship, presentation, personality and overall effect.
Photogenic & Cover Photo is judged on the quality of photo, personality, photogenic appeal and natural beauty.
Portfolio is judged on quality of photos, personality, photogenic appeal and creativity.
